For over 30 years, Georg Syvertsen (Associate Broker) has ranked among the top tier of Bainbridge Island and North Kitsap County real estate agents. Having managed Deschamps Realty & Associates for over 20 years, Georg owned and operated Deschamps until Coldwell Banker McKenzie acquired the company in the fall of 2007. Continuing with great passion for the business, Georg provides a broad skill set and maintains a high bar of quality in every relationship. His expertise enable him to share a wealth of knowledge with his customers and a confident familiarity in diverse business transactions; providing ease in doing business while realizing monetary gains for his clients.

As a well respected leader in the community, Georg has served as President of the Kitsap County Association of Realtors, Land Use Committee, State of Washington Equal Opportunity Committee, and has been an active volunteer in numerous local organizations.
Maintaining excellence, he stays consistently abreast in both technological and legal aspects of the business with an emphasis in real estate law issues, 1031 exchanges and up to date marketing techniques.

Arthur and his wife, Dinah moved their family to Bainbridge Island from Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles in 2005 and have been active with their Childrens' Schools, their Sports Programs and the Bainbridge Performing Arts, where Dinah directs and teaches acting to adults. Arthur and Dinah often take the ferry to Seattle, enjoying shows, the Seattle Art Museum, great restaurants, galleries and the Seattle Symphony.

Arthur is a distance runner, swims Masters at the Bainbridge Aquatic Center and works out at the Bainbridge Athletic Club.

Dinah is active at the Barnaby Stables, riding Dressage with her trainer Rebecca and her Horse, Aston; taking Yoga classes at the Bainbridge Athletic Club; volunteering at the Schools; directing and teaching acting at the Bainbridge Performing Arts.

Arthur has had a successful career selling homes and condominiums with Coldwell Banker McKenzie Associates and holds Certifications in Internet Marketing, Negotiation & New Home Sales. Arthur also holds two Bachelor of Arts Degrees; is certified as a Mediator; has owned two businesses and managed a third.

Since 1987, Arthur has delivered sales and management training lectures to such companies as IBM, Sun America, General Electric, Prudential Securities, the National Banking Association and Merrill Lynch. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Washington Association of Realtors; Who's Who in Luxury Real Estate & the Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce. He is also a founding member of the Bainbridge Business Owners.
