We work with Island and Out of Area Brokers every day; marketing current listings, showing other Broker's listings to our Buyers; seeing Brokers at their Open Houses and at the Open Houses we hold; taking calls, answering and asking questions; every day we build stronger and stronger relationships with the very people who will be showing your home to their clients. Relationships are the key to Successful Marketing, particularly in our close knit, unique Community.
The Brokers Tour:
Every Thursday, from 10:00 to Noon, or as late as 1:00 - depending on how many homes are on tour - successful agents on the island and from surrounding areas visit new listings to the market; ask listing Brokers questions; explore the home & property and familiarize themselves with the inventory.
We collect Business Cards during tour; e mail the Brokers that visited your home thanking them for making the effort and including a link to an informative electronic flyer that they can forward to their clients
We also e mail the Brokers that missed the tour, or had their own listings open, the Electronic Flyer.
We often hold a home open a second time if tour was particularly busy or we experiencec inclement weather.

Summary:
Georg & Arthur are very responsive, it is unrealistic to expect immediate response from any professional. They always responded to our calls promptly.
Georg & Arthur are discriminating about the properties they accept as a listing. Before they would accept our property it had to be inspected by the local 'inspector from hell' (as one neighbor described him) and found to be in very good condition. The results of that inspection were available for other agents to review. For that reason buyers agents could be comfortable bringing their clients to see our home.
As they helped us through the sale negotiation their many years of experience helped avoid closing problems. They know the local escrow offices and the fact that George & Arthur are held in high regard I think helped smooth the process.
